The Book of Destruction
Long ago in the time before even Old Galavan, before the coming of the Magi and the Ur Priests the Titans walked the earth. They were beings of immense power and stature, creators of wonders, workers of magic, and masters of the dragons. As time went on the immortal Titans grew bored of their arts and detached from morality, many of them turning to religion to give their eternal existence meaning. Othanops was one such Titan, and the ruins of his alabaster tower on The Isle of Storms is one of the only examples of Titan architecture left standing.
Most of the Titans have seemed to simply fade from existence, several made their way to other planes, and the few that were left turned to pacts with dark forces to increase their already near godlike powers. In time the devils and demons that granted these powers came to collect their dues, leaving the wretched and damned bodies of the Fallen Titans as living hosts to their tormented souls and evil desires.
